Hello all! As promised, this is our blog where we will be posting the latest info on our whereabouts and our “Lost Weekend,” which of course will probably extend for slightly longer than a weekend. Since there are two of us blogging, we’ve decided that my (Ken’s) entries will be in blue and Krysten’s entries will be in red. In the column on the right we will be posting links to flickr (or some other photo hosting sight) where we will post all of our photos.

Since we are both new bloggers, I will come back to update this post with instructions as we figure out what we’re doing.

I see you’ve chosen Flikr for your pics. I know that Google’s Picasaweb allows you to tag your photos with actual Google Maps coordinates. see for a sample. I’ve never played with Flikr, so it may offer the same feature, but I plan to tag as many of my photos as I can (so I remember those details later).

Well Mike and I are exhausted after our trip through Chengdu. Loved the baskets and pottery. Pottery is worth a fortune here! Can’t wait for next pics!

Hi Krysten,
Love the blog about the orphanage. I feel as if I’m there with you when I read it. (I would love to be). How do you get to these places where you’re the only tourists? Amazing. Blog was well written and so interesting, and the photos are wonderful. Great job again!
Ken, I’m proud of you – eating all that crazy food. Now, you have no excuse not to come to Shanghai Jazz with us when you get back!
