About Ken & Krysten

Hmmm.  If you don’t already know us you probably aren’t reading this page so I’ll keep this brief.  I’m 38 as of this writing and my younger, smarter, better half (a.k.a., Krysten) and I are currently embarking on an around the world trip.  It’s been a dream of ours for some time and forces have conspired to put us in a position to take the plunge.

We are both lawyers by training although Krysten has traded in her blackberry to pursue more artistic endeavors.  As for me, I’ve moved from lawyering into investment banking.  We are contemplating a move to Los Angeles and so between our life here and our potential life in California we decided to squeeze in our “Lost Weekend.”  We’re prepared to travel for up to a year, but, believe it or not, we’ve never done this before so who knows…

Our plan was originally to divide the world into a few regions, make each a separate leg of the trip and stop in occasionally at home.  As of now, we’re looking at one potential stop back home around October but we may also stay on the road for the whole trip.  We’ll see how it works out.  Wish us luck.  I have a feeling we will need it!

  1. Ken,

I did not know you were planning this until i received your Goldman farewell email! Your plans sound incredible.

It was a pleasure working with you and you and your wife will be in Melinda’s and my prayers.

I wish you the best in all you do.

  2. Hi Krysten,
I sent you an important e-mail at your yahoo address. Are you still able to get into that account from there? let me know if you get it, ok? Will be thinking of you.

  3. Krysten, I am a long lost cousin of your father’s.
Your grandfather, Thomas, and I were first cousins and I adored him. My mother (Aunt Mamie) and I visited Tommy and his family each time we traveled from San Diego to New Jersey, which for a long time was every summer. I always looked forward to that visit.
Your father will fill you in on more of the details.
You and your husband have embarked on a great
    adventure. I am a bit envious/
Take good care of yourselves, Therese
