Krysten & Ken’s Lost Weekend

Here is the current itinerary – subject to change on a moment’s notice of course.  We will keep this page updated as we travel.

April 4 – Fly into Tuscon, AZ for a few days with Ken’s parents

April 8 – Fly from Tuscon to Tokyo, Japan  (spending a few days in Tokyo and surrounding areas and then a few in Kyoto and surrounding areas)

April 18 – Fly out of Osaka, Japan to Beijing, China  (will be working our way down the coast from Beijing to Shanghai to Hong Kong with many unplanned stops in between and possibly a side trip over to Chengdu)

May 7 – Fly out of Hong Kong to Phnom Penh, Cambodia  (a couple of days in Phnom Penh, a couple in Angkor Wat and a couple on the Sounther Coast)

May 16 – Fly out of Siem Reap, Cambodia to Luang Prabang, Laos  (one week at an orphanage in Laos and a day or two of who knows what)

May 25 – Fly out of Luang Prabang, Laos to Hanoi, Vietnam  (a little over a week of traveling down the coast in Vietnam)

June 3 – Fly out of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to Bangkok, Thailand  (lot’s of time for Thailand – completely unplanned but will include a little island hopping and some northern Thailand travel)

July 3 – Fly out of Bangkok to Paris, France  (a few days in Paris and then Remona’s wedding in Lille)

July 12 - August [TBD] – random travel throughout Europe  (probable destinations include Amsterdam, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia and finally Italy)

August [TBD] - September [TBD] – Rome  (subletting an apartment and studying Italian for a month)

September [TBD] - October [TBD] – random Italy travel  (probably hit the lake district and Sicily, both of which we haven’t been to yet and then travel around randomly and practice our Italian)

The rest of this is pretty rough so I’m leaving out the dates and giving general time frames:

October – may come home for a couple of weeks but also may be in Spain visiting with the Georgetown crew
November – late January – heading back out to hit Morocco, then Egypt, then on to India and Nepal and potentially Tibet (depending on whether things settle down over there), then down to Malaysia, Bali, Australia and New Zealand
February – March – ski bumming somewhere in Colorado

Well, that’s it.  As I said above, we’ll keep updating as we go.
